My journey in art didn’t begin with a blueprint—it began with instinct. Since childhood, I have been pulled toward forms, textures, and the silent language of creation.
I’m Vijith Kumar Kavinthazha, an artist defined by curiosity, hands-on experience, and a lifelong bond with the visual world.
Immersing myself in sculpture and visual art during my school and college years, I found early encouragement when my work was featured in local newspapers. Those small milestones fueled my drive to study at the College of Fine Arts, where my craft deepened and my creative horizons broadened.
A defining milestone in my career was Arteria—a large-scale public art initiative that transformed our city into a living canvas. Working alongside highly accomplished artists shaped not just my portfolio, but my entire way of seeing. I also had the honor of contributing to Beyond Bricks, a tribute installation to Laurie Baker that powerfully connected art with architectural meaning.
Today, with over 20 years of experience, I lead teams as a Creative Director. But beyond the titles, I always return to my foundation: creating.
Through sculptures, paintings, and forms that carry weight and feeling, I continue to build my life's work. Because art isn't just my profession—it's my pulse.
